I have a ntext field in a service indenity . When it is edited i want
automaticly insert date en time.

CRM 4.0: Setting both a physical PC and a Citrix client as Sync PCs??
Hi all,
We have users who use PCs in-house but then also travel and use Citrix
clients. I know only 1 PC can be the synchronizing client with CRM but
I wonder if a Citrix client can be a sync PC as well, in addition to a
physical PC.
Did anyone try this?

Cannot close opportunities
I upgraded from CRM 3.0 to 4.0
We encountered issues with SQRSS - I had to uninstall and reinstall SQRSS.
I am now encoutering issues when closing a new opportunity it error out
throwing an Exception of type "System.web.HttpUnhandledException'

Urgent! "Query builder Error: No entity" message in the workflow s
Hello,
I think I deleted an entity which was referenced by a workflow, and now
whenever I go in the SETUP\Workflow screen I get a "Query Builder Error: No
entity" message. I can't even access the workflow list.
Do you guys have any solution to this problem?

Creating attachments to emails
I would like to send Certificates of Attendance documents (PDF) to contacts
using email merge.
The data in each Certificate of Attendance is specific to the contact
record. Can I attach the certificate to each individual record and then
send an email with this attachent using CRM email merge?

any free training resources?
I'm the tech guy here and just set up CRM 4.0 in an IFD config to see
if it could benefit our small business. Problem is.... I know zero
about CRM. I have the application working and integrated with
Outlook, I just don't know the best way to go about using it. Nobody

Workflow rule to create note on any change in case
Is there any way to create Workflow rule to send an alert (email) to the case
owner for adding or updating notes within the case.

Can't login to CRM
Hi
For some reason I can no longer login to CRM, either via Outlook (2007) or
http.
I am running CRM 4 Small Business on Windows 2003 (SBS actually) and it has
been functioning perfectly for 6+ months.
Now though when I try to login via http I get:

Emails shows as read message in out look after pop3 connector
Hi
We configured exchange email router . Everythig is working fine.
But once e-email came to Outlook, after some time email status chaged into
read mode. Eventhough user dont open that message in outlook this will happen
automatically after next send and receive from outlook. We used POP3
connector to read emails from echange server. This is happening to crm users

Only 12 records max. in overview duplicates
Hello people,
Using: CRM 4.0
When I run a duplicate detection job and look at the result, I have max. 12
records in that list. I know there are more, but I just don't see them. When
I solve some of the issues and get rid of the duplicates, more indeed apear
in the list the next time I run this.
Do I have a specific problem, or is this list indeed limited to 12 records ?

Admin can not Delete Saved Views
We are on CRM 4.0. Some Saved Views were created by employees who are no

Office 2007 and Tasks
I have just upgraded to Office 2007 and am using CRM 3.0 currently. When I
pull up my tasks in Outlook I can find no refrenece to which account/lead the
task is associated with. In 2003 the Account/Lead was shown above the task.
I am sure it is something simple

Performance Monitoring for CRM 4.0 with SCOM or another tool?
Hi. As far as I can tell, the only performance monitoring pack for CRM 4.0 is
for MOM; however we run Microsoft SCOM.
I was wondering the following:
1. Could someone be nice enough to post the CRM MOM counters and thresholds
so we can build our own perfmon script?
2. Could someone let me know if a monitoring pack for SCOM will someday be

CRM 4.0 Reassigning Tasks
Do I have to give Append or Write access to the "User" (within the Business
Management tab) in order for one use to assign a task to other users in the
same business unit? Currently, the role only has read access and users cannot
re-assign a task to other users within their own BU without getting a
security error.
