Hi,
I recently bought a HP Laptop which had Office 2007 Student&Teacher trial
installed. I tried to uninstall the trial version in order to install Office
2007 Professionnal but went into trouble.
I first uninstalled the Office program itself which went smootly but got
problem when trying next to uninstall "Activation Assistant for the 2007
Microsoft Office suites" which keep complaining that "Microsoft Office 2007
must be installed before Microsoft Office Activation Assistant can be
installed".
I then installed my Office 2007 Professionnal hoping that it would allow
me to finally delete that Activation Assistant but it was not the case. I'm
still stuck with that Activation Assistant which I really don't know how to
get rid of.
I could find some post stating that reinstalling Office 2007
Teacher&Student evaluation copy could allow the delete of the assistant. My
problem is:
- Where can I download that Office 2007 T&S evaluation copy?
- I presume that to install that Office 2007 T&S, I will have to first
uninstall my Office 2007 Professionnal. If I uninstall my Office 2007
Professionnal, how will I be able to register again after install considering
the fact that it has actually been registered?
- Any easier way to handle that problem?
