Office 2000 / Vista "invalid product key"
NM 12/3/2008 5:59:01 PM
I have a new laptop with Vista Home Premium SP1. It came with a 60 day trial
of Office 2007. I tried it, but decided to stay with Office 2000 when it
expired. I uninstalled every Office 2007 program I could find, but when I try
to install Office 2000 I get an "invalid product key" error. My copy of
Office 2000 is genuine and not OEM. Suggestions?

In Add/Remove dialogue is there anything listed for Office 2007?
Outlook 2000 will give problems on Vista

By "Add/Remove dialogue" I assume you mean the "Uninstall or change a
program" screen of Vista Programs and Features. I uninstalled everything
associated with Office 2007.
