I've been having this problem for a while now and I'm at my wits end.
I created a database a few years ago with USL. I've added my name to the
Admin and Full Permissions groups. I am the owner of most of the objects.
But when I try to open the database in "exclusive", I get "Not a valid
account name or password". But when I open the database via the shortcut,
using the same account name and password, I'm able to get it.
So I have a 2-part question. Why would this be happening? And if I am a
member of Admins and Full Permissions, do I have to open the database in
"exclusive" in order to make design changes to forms? (I guess this is
really 3 part) If I don't, why am I able to open a form in design, make
changes, save the changes, and not see the saved changes after re-opening
form?
Any suggestions is very much appreciated.
