Word document from a dataset

Hi there,

I have an application developed in C# that gathers some user input and
builds up a dataset. Once all the information has been gathered I need to
give the user the option of inserting this data into a report.

I have been looking into several techniques to accomplish this and just need
a little help on finding out what would be the best method. I have been
trying to create the document from the dataset (saved as xml) and applying
xslt tranformations to it as not all of the data in the dataset needs to be
reported on.

Any tips or references would be very much appreciated.

TIA
regards
Darren

What options are open to you depend on the version(s) of Word you're targeting.
On the whole, the suggested approach should be the most efficient and wouldn't
require you to automate Word at all.
