I posted this in office.misc, but no-one replied. Can anyone help here,
please?
When trying to open a .docx file in Word 2003 (part of Office 2003
Professional) an error is reported: 'Word experienced an error trying open
this file...' (or similar) with suggestions to look at disk space,
administrator access & one other that I forget now.
We bought two laptops recently, both with the essentially the same setup
(Vista/Office 2003/single administrator level account, etc.) and both have
the converter pack installed. Mine works fine, my wife's fails. I've
uninstalled the converter pack, re-downloaded it and reinstalled it but it
doesn't help. I've searched several forums but I can't find a solution - can
anyone here help?
