Doesn't look like anything new to me -- it's not Jet replication, but likely a Sharepoint-based service, in my opinion.
In other words, it's really not comparable at all to what Jet replication provides (because of the intermediary Sharepoint list structure which, for instance, has no enforcement of referential integrity, among its many drawbacks).
