New synchronization services from MS

I just came across this on the MS Access team blog. It appears that
Microsoft is working towards providing the infrastructure to store and
sync with data in the cloud. They're releasing a beta to test the
functionality; you can see details at:

It appears that you'll be able to use either MS Access, SQL Server
Compact or SQL Server Express.

Doesn't look like anything new to me -- it's not Jet replication,
but likely a Sharepoint-based service, in my opinion.

In other words, it's really not comparable at all to what Jet
replication provides (because of the intermediary Sharepoint list
structure which, for instance, has no enforcement of referential
integrity, among its many drawbacks).
