Is the getShowImage callback broken for buttons in a dynamicMenu?

Hello

I have a question regarding the failure I am seeing with the getShowImage
callback.

I am building a tab that contains a number of static buttons and a number of
dynamic menus that contain buttons. The code in my getShowImage callback is
performing correctly for the static buttons on the ribbon, ie, a check is
displayed once the process associated with the button has been run (this is
done by embedding document variables).

The problem I am seeing is with the checks for the buttons that live on
dynamic menus. Although these buttons employ the same callback for
determining whether to display a check, the check is always
displayed--whether or not the associated process has been run.

I have not been able to determine whether this is a restriction or a known
failure of using getShowImage under getContent. When stepping through the
dynamic menus loading in the debugger, the getShowImage callback is not even
gone to. It is as though the attribute is ignored entirely.

Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Thanks
Nathan

Nathan,

I don't know if it is by design or a bug, but the showImage and getShowImage
attributes seem to be ignored for controls residing on a menu (both a menu
and a dynamic menu).
