Synchronization manager freezes my PC
Paula 12/29/2008 1:41:04 PM
I have 4 Outlook e-mail accounts; 1 is an Exchange account and the others are
MSN/hotmail. Within the past couple of days synchronization manager will
start up and try to synchronize a file named
http://r.office.microsoft.com/r/rlidOutlookRSS?clid=1033 (which I have no
idea what this is) and it freezes up the PC. I have to go and manually shut
down the process. This is a standalone PC, not connected to a network,
running Windows XP Media Center Edition Pro SP3 and Outlook 2007 SP1.
I haven't added anything to the PC so don't know why this is happening. I
have checked the configuration of synchronization manager and I basically
shut it off but it still keeps popping up every few minutes.
What is synchronization manager doing? Can I delete the the program? I
can't find good documentation on it so don't know how to fix it.
Thank you
