Why, oh why - can't I insert the picture I have located into the picture box
in publisher. I only have the ruler lines running across the page, - I have
trawled the MS site and no luck, also they want me to pay for the answer,
which I do not want. Any help would be appreciated.

You really aren't giving us much information to go on. What happens when you
try to insert a picture?

Hi there - I use the normal method of inserting picture, i.e. insert picture
- from file - find the necessary file - click on ok to insert it, and then
nothing, the publisher page just stays blank (except for the ruler cross
lines). If I try again with another picture box, I then get two boxes on top
of one another, but no picture. My pictures are actually "grandson's photos"
which are jpg. Any help would be appreciated.

Following on from my earlier repy to yours JoAnn Paules, I have just tried to
insert the same photo into the Office 2007 Word and it has done this
successfully. This is just puzzling me - praps I am missing an important
point. Regards

Hi there - I have solved the problem I am pleased to say. The reason why the
picture wasn't showing was because of the following:
Toolbar ----- View ------ pictures ------- then the three options are:
detailed display, fast resize and zoom, and HIDDEN. This was the problem
the hidden button was ticked, so I removed this and ticked the detailed
display, and problem solved.
