I'm preparing an automated installation for Office 2003 and get during the
installation code 1603.
I made the MST with the CIW and in works. The setup stops not at all
workstations, but I can't find the reason.
Deleting the old office folder under "Program Files" and the registry
entries for HKLM and HKCU doesn't help.
The old installation of office XP was removed via office XP setup using
"msiexec /X"
In a nutshell:
Plattform: Windows XP Pro SP2
old Office XP(2002): via msiexec /x removed
Office 2003: MST created with CIW
