reading docx file in XP Word 2003 frustrated in Irving 11/12/2008 7:15:36 PM I'm trying to open docx files and have downloaded the Compatibility Pack twice, tried the tools/option/x by confirm conversion to open and still can't read the files. What can I do next?

I have downloaded Comp.Pack, installed it and only thing I have to do is double-click those .docx files or click Word / File / Open... Perhaps your Comp.Pack is someway corrupted...
