Using Access 2000 with Project 2003 to add new fields

Hi,

I (that is, my company) use MS Project 2003 for programme schedules. To
keep track of the rationale behind the schedule, I created an Access 97
database that linking (the hard way) into MSP98. This was to overcome the
limitation of one memo field (the Note field) to capture such things as Risk,
Assumptions, Inputs, Outputs, detailed task description, etc for which a Text
field is too small.

I am trying to take advantage of MSP2003's database format by adding my
existing extra fields to the project database. I was wondering if:
a. there are any good guides to using Project within Access (eg, adding new
tasks and resources and ensuring all links are catered for).
b. whether it is possible to write a form that allows an MSP 2003 user to
directly access(!) these new fields rather than have to go through an Access
form? (or create new user fields in MSP2003)

Thank you.
