Office Serial Key Problem
Aidan 6/8/2007 7:46:01 PM
Following a repair of my office software I am now being asked for a 25 digit
validation key to reactivate all my office software. However, I only have a
20 digit OEM validation key which I obtained prior to the repair.

Is there something I can do to reactvate my software?

Regards

Aidan

I think you are confusing the 20-digit Product ID with the 25-digit Product
KEY. You need to enter the Product Key numbers. It should be on a label
attached to the Office disk holder. If you can't find that, download and
install Belarc (from belarc.com). Run the utility and it will tell you what
the Product Key is for your installation of Office (I'm assuming that the
repair did not uninstall Office from your PC...if it did and you can't find
the label...you will have a less than happy weekend).
