cannot find 'Proplus.WW\ProPlsWW.cab' on Office 2007 install

I have found a thread some time ago on this problem but the answers i have
read from other people havent worked for me.

Every time i try to install office 2007 it gets so far and then says it cant
find 'Proplus.WW/ProPlsWW.cab' and offers me to browse for it. Despite
pointing it to the file it doesnt see it still. I have tried everything
including removing all other office applications and cleaning the registry
and removing all office registry files but still no joy. I have even tried
installing it from the hard disc.

Can anyone help? has anyone solved this problem?

Sounds like a damaged disk or something on the computer hardware like the
CD-ROM drive... You could try copying the contents of the entire Office
CD/DVD to a folder on the hard drive if you have the free space. If you get
some kind of error like a CRC error then it's probably the DVD/CD or CD-ROM
drive.

This article has steps on troubleshooting office 2007 setup issues when
installing from a CD/DVD http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924619.
