Office 2003 install error after removing Office 2007 "Marc Seidler" <marcseidler[ at ]hotmail.com> 6/13/2007 12:01:12 AM I have a client who had Office 2003 Standard installed on a Dell with Windows XP Sp2 system and installed office 2007 Trial. They uninstalled the trial and now 2003 will not open. It says the install file is missing. If I try and install 2003 from the original CD's it says "cannot install Office 2003 on W2000 without Sp3 installed or later. Please install W2000 Sp3." This system has XP Sp2 so what is going on. Office 2007 and 2003 are still listed in the Add Remove list and give misc errors if you try and uninstall them. I ran the Installer Cleanup and it made no difference. -- Marc H.
