Run Time Distribution

I would like to distribute an app using Access runtime. In the past, there
have been real difficulties if RunTime is installed when the user already
has Access installed. There are version problems, library problems etc. I
haven't done this for several years so was wondering if those issues are
resolved with 2007, 2003 etc.

Nothing really changed in this regards. The problems of having more then one
version of ms-access are the SAME regardless if you are using runtime or not
(that means they are highly compatible in having the same problems).

However, there is one bright spot, and that is the runtime system is FREE of
charge for 2007. And, you can go purchase 3rd party scripts that solves the
issues of compatibility.

so, now, for less then the cost of the previous version of the runtime..you
can get quite a good install. The company that sells some install scripts
that soles compatibility problems can be found here:
