Office 2003 Transform Deployment with Group Policy

I am attempting to deploy Office 2003 via group policy. I had completed the
CIW to provide the key, accept the EULA and provide the Exchange server name
for Outlook. It starts the installation, but then it gives me an error the
the Exchange server is unavailable, retry, work offline or cancel. When I
look a the profile created in the mail applet, the server name has been input
correctly. What am I missing?

How did you deploy Office 2007 via group policy?

Just put the Setup.exe or MSIEXEC.exe command line in StartUp Script or
Software Deployment package with the .MSI file?

I guess this may be related to that during appling the .MST for the
deployment to resolve the Exchange Server name there, the client machine has
not gotten the relevant network connection to reach DNS or DC to resolve the
Exchange Server name there successfully.

You can check and verify on the above. Hope can be some helpful!

Best regards,
David
