Error 1311 message installing MS Office 2007 puzzled01 12/18/2008 4:09:01 PM Installing MS Office Home and Student 2007 on laptop (Dell) ran into error 1311. File at issue was D:\PA561401.CAB. It was not found on the disc with search. Does anyone know patch or fix? I have Windows XP with SP3 running. This is upgrade from Office Home and Student 2003.

Other soulutions suggested uninstalling the '03 version, but I didn't want to do that. I got the '07 install to work by doing a custom install and leaving only '03 XL, PPT, Word & Access.
