Office XP 2002 Version
Hewy57 5/17/2007 12:22:00 AM
I have a copy of Office XP Version 2002. My computer crashed and now after I
reinstalled the software it says my product key is invalid. What can I do?

I have the exact same conditions. I'll be watching for an answer. Why
should I buy 2007 when I'm perferctly happy with 2002.

Getting rid of Micro$oft Works did the trick. My Office 2002 is running

I had the same problem when I installed Office XP 2002 on my "NEW" Vista
computer after my old XP crashed. All you have to do is call Microsoft and
tell them that you are installing the software on a NEW computer and that it
will only be used on the one computer and they will reset your software for
the new one. NOTE: You can only use the software on one ( 1) computer !!!

Not neccessarily true at all. AFAIK all retail copies can be installed on
one desktop AND one laptop....check the EULA....
