Yes, if you've left the check mark on the "Automatically add words to list" option in the Exceptions dialog. Note that you don't have to expand the AutoCorrect tag and choose "Stop AutoCapitalizing After"; you just have to undo the capitalization as soon as it happens (by pressing Ctrl+Z).
