I suggest that you go back and look carefully at what sub-type of line chart you have chosen. My guess is that you have chosen a "stacked" chart. Choose a line chart other than stacked, or if you are trying to plot your Y values against your X values you may find that XY (confusing described as "scatter") is the right chart type. -- David Biddulph
