Setup Error 1309
Gags 5/31/2007 1:00:01 PM
When attempting to install Office Standard 2007 I got an "Error 1309"
message. The file SKU111.CAB could not be read off of my installation
CD...does anyone have thoughts or solutions for me? This error was not
addressed at all in Microsoft Online Support.

SKU111.CAB is a file on the Office 2003 Pro (retail) disk. Are you sure you
mean 2007?

(Please bear in mind that I'm not sure if there's also a 2007 file named
that. But that seems like it could be messy if that was the case.)

After I put up the original post I discovered that, despite the error message, all of the Office 2007 programs were indeed installed (upgraded) and seem to be working fine thus far...though I haven't done anything complex on any of them yet.

Keep your fingers crossed and should that error arise again, put in the 2003
CD.
