Hi
I'm using Office 2008 for Mac. I have tried to unzip and rezip a simple
xlsx-file, but Excel won't open the rezipped archive saying that "Excel
cannot open this file. The file might have been damaged or modified from its
original format".
I have tried all sorts of zip-programs (stuffit, cli zip, etc.), different
compression levels, with or without Mac-files.
Isn't this supposed to work?

BTW - Just tried the same thing on a Windows PC - Same problem.
