Inserting photos into Word.

Hi all,

I (or rather a friend of mine), running Windows XP Pro has a problem
inserting photos into Word 2003 documents. He can insert photos into
documents, but when he tries a print preview, the photos don't show up on
the page. They do not print either. Only the text previews or prints.

The way he has them inserted is either set to "behind text" or "in front of
text". If the photo is just inserted between lines of text, everything
previews & prints OK.

The strange part is that he has e-mailed me a copy of the file he is working
on, I have opened it in Word XP, 2003 & 2007 and all print preview and print
fine (with his settings). I've tried it with Windows ME, XP Pro and Vista
Ultimate, all OK.

Any ideas? I hope someone can help!!!!

He has already posted a similar question, but I thought I should just
clarify a couple of things,

Thanks,

Dave.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | Print tab | check the "Drawing
objects" box | OK.

Hey Garfield,

If I knew where you were I'd make you the biggest dish of Lasagna you've
ever seen.

Thanks very much for the advice, it worked perfectly. You just saved a man's
life. He was on the edge & ready to jump!!!

Thanks again,

Dave.
