Upon reinstalling Office XP, two problems presist:
1. Upon calling up each app (Word, Publisher, Excel, & PowerPoint) a Windows Installer window pops up to install the feature. How can I eliminate this window and delay?
2. Word always opens with a window stating that macros are disables, and do I want them enabled? Then upon closing Word, a window appears that points one to online literature about enabling macros. How do I eliminate this?

does it register itself as a Word add-on. e.g. can you scan from word using that app? "Bill Haskell" <bhask[ at ]roadrunner.com> wrote in message news:46268e2d$0$9974$4c368faf[ at ]roadrunner.com...

Gyorgy,
I am also having the same issue with every Office 2003 app EXCEPT Word, and do have Adobe Pro installed. It seems that is started when I installed the "convertor" to be able to open Office 2007 files...
Any ideas?
Thanks
