I purchased a Microsoft Office 2003 Professional CD (OEM) and installed it on my Windows XP (SP3) computer. When I went to Microsoft's Office web site to update my Office with the latest patches I get the following message:
"NOTE: Detection shows that Office products on your computer have been updated by your Office product administrator from the administrative installation point on a server. This means that you should not update Office products yourself. If you are an Office product administrator, please visit the Office Resource Kit for more information."
Microsoft's web site won't let me update my software. How can I fix this? Thanks.
John P.S. I have ordered other Office 2003 Professional CD's (OEM) in the past for other computers and have not had this problem.
