Inserting Graphics

Any idea why, when I insert a graphic file, it appears at the very top of the
page, partially missing? when i check the specs, it's set as "in line with
text", but the vertical absolute position is -8.21 below paragraph. in order
for it to appear on the page, i have to change the text wrapping to "tight
and change the verticle absolute position to "0". BUT, ... the original
file's formatting specs are correct. it's when i copy it into another file.
the same happens when i insert the original file from my directory. Any
idea? thanks in advance!

If it's inline, check the line spacing of the paragraph it's in (make sure
it's not set to an Exact amount).
