Hi i'm wanting to have a command button input data into a field in a table
and also open a popup to for a list which enters data on the same
record(different field).
Then after data entry to the pop up it needs to close, but still alow data
entry to the original form..
I've tried opening another form (through an event procedure), but can't get
the original form to input on the same record after the popup closes, and
also can't get the button which opens the pop up form to input data to the
record.
let me try and explain with real term things.
I want to be able to open a form, click on button, which stores what
department a member of staff is in and also opens a pop up of indiviual staff
names, which can be selected and entered into the database and closed. then
enter more info on the original form. At the end of data entry i have a
button which saves the record and moves onto a new record.
make any more sense?
