Unless I make the TextBox about half the width of the report it trims the
end of each row

Setting Up Users
I was looking for some help with setting up users for my DB. Because of
where I work the DB is on a shared drive so all user with access to that
drive can access the DB. I would like to assign user but the last time I
tried it only worked on my computer and not the others. Any help or guidance
would be welcomed!...

Combo box won't let me select from the list
Originally I had a sub-form with a Table as the RecordSource but I couldn't
get the records to sort chronologically using the date field without having
to apply the filter everytime I opened the form. Having read through the
posts I changed the RecordSource and linked it to the query but now the combo
boxes (there are two - one for ContactTitle and one for State) won't let me

Navigation Pane Empty
I created a database in access 2003 and brought it into access 2007. I try
to display the queries and tables in the Navigation pane but nothing appears.
How can I get these to appear? I need to edit a table....

Access backup
In our office we have our Access database saved on a server. Four people use
this database. Each person has a shortcut on their desktop to open the
database. No-one tells the database to backup--but every once in a while it
backs up on its own and names the backups db1.mdb, db2.mdb etc. How do we
get this automatic backup to stop?

Report filter
I have an excel report we work on a monthly basis that gets imported into
Access. However, we do not work on the entire report just a portion. Is there
a way to have access filter down to the precentage we do work on?
So for instance:
50% of the AB items
25% of the CD items
etc...........................

Just Upgraded to 2007 - security won't let me in database
I just upgraded to 2007 and the security I had set on the database in Access
2003 is not letting me in. I am getting a message to contact the
administrator to change my user permissions. I am the administrator and I
can't get in to make any changes. I can open the workgroup, but I can't see
how to change or remove passwords. I thought this might do it, but I guess
not. Any suggestio...

Just reviewed existing Posts.
As of 12/31/08, the best way to do this is???...Develop an Access 2003
MDE..buy Access 2007 (one copy to get the free Acess2007
runtime)...true??..any Bugs??
Also, when is the next Office..13 ??..scheduled?

Multiple parameters for report
I have a report based on a query asks for a beginning and ending parameter
(numbers that indicate regions for me). I would like to set this up in a
function/sql to run automatically, saving each report.

When replicating datbase fields in tables disappear
Many controls in different tables disappear in relationship window and design
view of tables. In the form view they are still their and all relationships
still work. Why are not all controls being dispaled so I can modify them?...

I need to create a query which can collect data from 3 unquie imported tables
and consolidate the date into one report.

Forms Mortally Slow
I'm using Access 2003 on Windows 2000 Pro machine. My forms are running
mortally slow. Don't know if it's anything I've done. They used to run
quickly, but now I have to wait several minutes for a single form to even
open. What's up with this crap. Will I have to give up using forms altogether?...

Query Delay
I apologize if this is a duplicate post. I reposted because for some reason
I can't seem to get my posts to show up.
My form contains a persistent snapshot recordset that is used to create a
new recordset which is in turn applied to a listbox's recordset property.
Code is similar to the following:

Why does this Click event throw a "Return without GoSub" error in Access 12?

confirmation messages in Access 2007
Please could anyone tell me how to turn off confirmation messages. In Access
2003 it was Tools/Options/EditFind etc ... but I can't find the equivalent in
Access 2007

A2K Runtime Crashes on DoCmd.Quit
Hi;
Using A2K Runtime on XP Pro PC. Have all of the updates for XP and Access
Runtime including SP-3 for both.
The app opens to frmLogin correctly. On that form there are 2 cmd buttons.
Continue & Exit.
Can log in as USER or sa, (System Administrator) but when clicking either
cmd button get Access Runtime Crash.
