Importing excel table but user to select table in macro
I have a macro set up that automatically imports 2 tables into a database,
then runs a few queries, then exports a spreadsheet that contains 3
worksheets. What I want to do is modify the macro, so instead of having the
filename that I'm importing hardcoded in TransferSpreadsheet, I want the user
to select the new file each month. This is the same with exporting the files
in the TransferS...

import dbf tables
hi,
i am trying to import a dbf table from alpha 5. most tables will import ok,
but some tables i am getting an error which says 'search key can not be
found'.
does anyone what the cause might be.
there seems to be no difference in the tables being imported, they all have
an id field which is the same data type and length.

Problem importing into two Sharepoint fields
I have set up a daily import using Access 2007 of an excel spreadsheet
through a linked table. I created the list in Sharepoint with a total of 7

Invalid Procedure Call
I have a form that is called Run Load that I use to upload data from Outlook.
I had to do some table changes that didn't affect the link however because I
took the database off line I had to relink outlook. When I do this and I Run
Load, I get an Invalid Precedure Call. Can someone tell me what this means.
I really need answer to this. I need to get this database back on line....

Exporting a text file WITHOUT the field names (header row)
I am running Access 2003. I am attempting to export information based on a
select query to a fixed-width text file. I am using a macro to accomplish
this with the TransferText command and an export specification that I had
saved. While the export works, I need to create the text file WITHOUT the
field names (header row). Does anyone know a simple method for doing so?

Linked table field limit problem
Access 2003 SP3 linking to an Oracle table with 360 fields via ODBC. Need
data from field 265, can't reach because table field limit is 255. Is there
a workaround? Access 2007 has same limit so upgrade sounds like it wouldn't
help.

Access 2007 - exporting subforms/subreports to Word - no can do
Hello,
Just wondered if anyone knows why Access 2007 cant export subreports to Word
and has anyone got a slick workaround?
I have over 250 pages of formatted Access data that I want to get into Word
for further formatting.
The best solution I have found so far is to print to PDF without the option
of further formatting. :(

DH QBF export greater than 255
I have been using DH QBF by Duane Hookom for quite some time now and it works
great. Mostly my users export to Excel.
I seem to remember quite a long time ago that I had received some help on
how to modify it to have the memo fields export the full text instead of 255
characters and I haven't changed anything but have been notified that it is

Using saved exports in Access 2007

I have an unbound form with a list box
that displays all my Queries....

Import data into Tables of new DB

As my DB is improved I need to import historical data into the new version

Multiple users opening linked .cvs files
I have a combo box on a form that uses linked tables. If more than one
person clicks the combo box, they get an error msg. that only one person can
have the linked table open at once. I need multiple users to be able to use
