Command button to save record and generate new form
I have a form which is used for data entry. The form has a command button
which when clicked saves the record to a table. How would I set the command
button to not only save the record when clicked but to also re-generate the
same blank form or simply just clear all the fields?...

Troble generating query in with its Dates in Chrnological order
I have to create a report by monday, and when I run a quary for monthly
expenses, the months come up in Alphabetical order insted of chrnological
order, and the report generated comes out the same way...

Relationships, forms and command buttons
I am building my first database. It has two main tables linked in many to
many relationship - tblIndividuals and tblOrganisations - and a number of
linked tables. I am trying to normalise the database, and reduce the number
of fields in the main tables. However, I'm hitting up against a couple of

Outlook Office 2003 Moving Sent Files to other Folders changes dat
After moving Sent folders to Personal Folders for each year (for organizing
and archiving purposes) each new folder no longer has a column for date sent.
Only date received appears at column head and all dates are date and time
moved. Suggestions appreciated...

exporting outlook express messages to Vista outlook
Can import my email messages to windows mail? If so, how do I do it?
Please provide specific instructions as to how I can do it. I want to give
my old computer away, but am unwillingly to do so until I can get my xp

Relating fields to other fields
Problem Setup:
I have a Wildflower database that I have created, with each wildflower
having a unique ID (as well as unique common and latin name). Each
wildflower belongs to a family, which I want to be able to select based on
either the common or latin family name. Families names are stored in a
different table with a unique ID for each family.

full listbox
my users have discovered a limitation to the listbox control. i believe the
listbox can only store around 33000 characters when using a value list as
the rowsource. if i use a query i can get everything they want in there,
but i can't add a selected item to an adjacent listbox and remove the item
from the orinal listbox.
how do i solve this problem?

reformatting text??
I've created an access query & report. When i run the report i get small non
printable squares separating the text. i'd like to replace thses squares

Enter and Edit Data in a Query (or form based on the query)
I remember reading an article somewhere on the Web that reviewed the
circumstances under which it was not possible to update data in a query.
I can not find it.
I would be grateful if a kind soul to direct me to information that would be

Creating Expression (Formula)
Hi,
I have created forms by using the Wizard from table.
In form there are two comboboxes named"Biceps" and "Elbow" and one textbox
"Total" . Now for example, if score of "Biceps" is 2 and score of "Elbow" is
3 then "Total" of values should be 5.
How can I creat a formula (Expression) that automatically adds value from
field "Biceps" and "Elbow"?

Lookup Box
I have a Lookup Box on a Form that looks up specific numbers (No Duplicates
allowed) and an After Update Event Procedure to alert the user if they try to
duplicate the number.
This number can be deleted as required. The problem is if someone
accidentally deletes the number and tries to re-enter the number straight

Locked out for no reason
I didn't even set up my security protocols, and some how I have a dialog box
prompting me for my password. It has a name and password box, but I never
set up a login with my name on it, but there it is? How does this happen?

Linking to Excel, getting #Num!
I need to be able to keep a database in Excel, but link it to Access. I have
done this, and everything is fine except in the zip code field and some phone
numbers. In my Excel spreadsheet the zip code field is formatted as
special/zip code+4. Most of these show up on the Access table as #Num! If
at all possible I would like to keep the information in Excel instead of

Scrolling through records in a form (cannot fast scroll using mouse)
I now have Access 2007, and cannot scroll fast through records in a form
like I could in Access 2000. Is there a way to turn something on, so I don't
go one record at a time? I have to scan one record at a time to get from
record 1 say to 350. DB has over 500 records. Why did they turn off the fast
scroll?
I asked this question in the Forms group, but didn't get an answer.

I want to add multiple names to a field from a list box, how?
I need to be able to add multiple names to a field on a form from a list box.
I have a form that records training sessions, and I need to be able to add
multiple names of people at a session to the name field, this is selected
from a list box.

Open two access databases simultaneoulsy

Required field ... but only with certain information
I have a boolean command to enable some fields based on the result of an
option in a combo box.
Although the "required" property is set to "no", how can I ensure these

Ribbon
Does anyone have a list of the default idMso values for the default Ribbon
tabs? All of the examples I've seen reference "TabHome" and "TabCreate", but
I haven't been able to find the idMso names for the other tabs, ie. "External
Data", "Database Tools", and "Datasheet".
