MS Access interface with Outlook question
I'm using MS Access to send automatic emails to a distribution list.
However, everything it sends the email an outlook pop up is display
saying: " A program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your
behalf.....etc.
Is there anyway that I can eliminate this "pop up" display?
Suggestions are appreciated.

Access doesn't like default printer.
I wonder if anyone has come across this issue, it doesn't make sense to me.
In one of our labs, Access will not see the default printer. These
computers are fairly new Dells w/ XP Pro on them and Office 2003. There are
two HP4050 printers in the lab, installed w/ a script through group policy.
When I go File > Print, nothing happens. If I put the cursor on the Print

MSAccess.exe has generated an error and will be closed by Windows
We have an MSAccess applicaiton built with Access2000. When one user tries
to launch this applicaiton with Acccess 2003 already running, they get an
error "MSAccess.exe has generated an error and will be closed by Windows".
Note: our application runs fine on their computers as long as they do not
launch MSAccess2003 first.

MS Access macro interface with Excel question
I'm working on an access macro that will open a directory and select
all the excel files and parse them prior to load to access.
Problem is that when I read the first file everything works correct.
However, when I read the second file the insert instruction does not
work. Can someone help me correct this problem? I know that it is
possible but I can not figure it out.

Installing Problems With Games
Most of the times when im installing games or some other programs i get a
message at about 2% that says, Componet transfer error

File Group - app executables
Error - acess is denied
I am the admin by the way, i have tried asking questions b4 and i always get

Installed Office Standard 2007 on computer with trial still instal
I recently upgraded from the trial version to standard version. Everything
seems to be running fine except that in add/remove, the old trial program is
still listed but not the standard program. Do I need to uninstall the trial
and then reinistally the standard version?

VSTO 2003 Install Question
'm hitting a wall here. The end goal is to have the ADE package wizard
available and I can't seem to find it.
I have Office 2003 Professional installed
I have Visual Studio 2003 .NET installed
I have VSTO 2003 installed.
From within Visual Studio .NET, I can see the MS Word and Excel Projects for

Outlook
I downloaded the trail version of Office 2007 sans Outlook. What happened to
it? I called Microsoft help which was not alot of help. They said it was just
elimnated without ant replacement? Any suggestions would be appreciated....

Field level locking or record level
Hello all,
I am using Access 2002, Front End and Back End. I have a second database
that appends and also updates a main table in the Back End.
Problem is the Back End database doubles if the second database updates the
Back End when users are logged in to the Front End. Just a 1/2 step away
from corruption is my guess.
Very few fields in this main table are editable by the users. ...

Office Outlook 2007 Trial
I have downloaded MS Office 2007 Trial, but Outlook did not download with it.
That is one of the main programs of Office that I use very often. Is there
something that I need to do to obtain it for review. That would determine if

Reinstalling XP after crash
system file is corrupt or missing. Attempted repair with CD, no luck.
Followed MS step by step to resolve, but system file not found. Now cannot
even log into the setup menu on CD because it will NOT read my old password!

How to Install Access 1.1 on SBS 2003 R2 Server
I know the easy answer is upgrade using the latest Access version that
everyone known. But, my customer - asmall company has been using MTX
accounting runing on Acces 1.1 happly since 1993. They have no money nor
time to do the update for now.
Hope any expert read this message could provide a solution will be very much

MS-Access closes when deleting an object
1. I highlight an object
2. Press delete
3. Ms-Access prompts that it cannot find the object - make sure it exists
4. I click "Ok" - then MS-Access shuts down
Often recompiling the mdb solves the problem, but not always. Is this a
setup issue?

Configuration Control
Is there a program that will allow configuration control to be applied to an
access front end? I am looking for something that will let me create a
baseline of the FE and then as I make changes it will maintain the Delta.
Currently I am just storing each version of the FE as a seperate file labled

SQL CALs, SMS CMLs
I am wondering where, if at all, one would install SQL Server Standard 2005
CALs and SMS Server 2003 CMLs? I have 80 SQL User CALs, 31 SQL Device CALs
and 92 SMS CMLs. I thought they'd be entered into the servers in the same
way that Windows Server CALs and Terminal Server CALs are entered?? Thanks....

I want to automate the Linked Table Manager

I want to automate the Linked Table Manager.
So when I give out a database the user can click on a button witch will ask
them where the databases files are stored and then run the Linked Table
Manager based on that path.

A97 and dao350.dll: 0x8002801C under MS Vista
Hi NG,
I want to install an older Access97 runtime application under MS Vista
(build 6000, 32bit). This app is perfoming well from Windows98 to Windows
XP.
Unfortunately setup (Inno-SetUp) failed while registering dao350.dll with

Linked Tables - Modify ForeignName field?
