I hava an excel sheet with 61 columns of number a,b,c,d ......
starting at row 3 and finishing at row 30
What I want to do with a formula is this.
Is it possible to have a reference cell let say A1. in this celle a
put a number let say 3
For each row I need to put a formula.
The formula should do that: start at the beginning of the column and
make the sum for next 3 columns...

Ordering data
I have the following data:
4150 4321 4525 <blank cell> 5050 <blank cell> 5575 <blank cell> 5650
The second cell - in this case the value 4321 - is linked to a live market
feed. I need to sort this data so that the live feed cells always falls into
the correct 'band', ie. the blank cell between 4150 and 4525, between 5575
and 5650, etc.

In column E number of mont is listed with 01 to 12. There can be various
amounts of rows filled with the different numbers of months

Programmatically Determine if Excel 2007 SP1 is Installed
I have an Excel add-in that needs to determine whether SP1 of Excel 2007 is
installed. Is there a registry entry or something else that can be queried
at runtime to determine the version?
I noticed in the Excel UI both 2007 and 2007 SP1 show the version number as
12.0.6324.5001.

Need the ablity to drag the same file in
into the IE browser window, load the same files thru the start run command

Excel 2007 - all patches loaded
Many of the commands that you add to the Quick Access Toolbar do not have
any icons. When you add them to the Quick Access Toolbar you get a green
circle icon. Is there any way (without buyting a thrid party package or
writing VBA code) to modify the icons.

Enhanced Graphing Software.
General question not regarding excel.
A few years ago I learned about a product that was excel-like but with
graphing features that far surpassed excel. I believe it started with an "X"
or "EX". Does anyone have any idea what it is called or where I can find out
more information on products like these. I found "MiniTabs" which is for 6
Sigma Projects. Just curious....

counting negative and positive percentages in a column
I am trying to figure out how to do a sumif or countif for a range of
values negative and positive values of a cell in a column.
example
10%
15%
33%
-10%
-5%
-45%
I would like to have one formula to count the cells with a positive %
from 0.01% to 20%
another formula to count the cells with a negative % from -0.01% to

Copying Multiple Conditional Formats from One Workbook to another
Hi,
I'm hoping there's an easier way to do this rather than manually
retype 3 conditional formats per column x multiple columns :-
Workbook A is identical to Workbook B in terms of column headings
etc.
Workbook B has no conditional formating, and needs to have the exactly
the same conditional format by formaula as workbook A.
Whats the quick way ?

Separate hours worked from hours on break, lunch, etc.?
Hello!
I was looking for a program to schedule employees that showed when
they work, are on break, lunch, etc so I can see conflicts and make
sure the required number of people are in each work area. Downloaded
many, but they either cost too much for us, or were not as
customizable as we needed.

PUZZLED - Daily Percentage Change and Cumulative
Dear All,
I was never any good with maths and this just puzzles me!
I have date starting from 100 down column B with the date in column A.
The last number is 117.50.
I make this an increase of 17.5%....however each day it may have moved
down 1% or up 2%. When I summate all the daily percentage changes I
was expecting to see 17.5% however I can see around 20%.

How to lock Excel 2007 quick access toolbar to be always visible?
