I am completely fed up!!
I would like to copy and paste the chart axis within my worksheet so that the
comparable graphs I have all show the same range if not they look stupid one
may show upto 70 and the other 30 which proves to be no good at all. The data
will change with the pivot refreshing so I need some kind of macro to keep
them all looking the same on one worksheet .I dont wnat to change numerous
graphs ...

Chart suppression of zero's
HI, for a chart series of historical data that is not yet populated, I want
to suppress the chart plotting of zero's. The option of plot empty cells as
'not plottted' does not work. Thank you....

In charts, is it possible to change data references to relevant?
Ive created a basic bar chart, but the speadsheet in which the data is held
is constantly being updated. This is ruining my graph as the data references
are absolute. Is there a way of changing the source data references to
relevant? ive tried "f4" when in the graph "Source data", "values" option,
but this does not work.
Ive tried deleting all of the $ from the data, but they apear aga...

more than 2 secondary y axis with individual ranges of value
Hi All,
I work with electric motors which have several different value ranges i
would like on a single chart, namely; Speed, Power, Current and Efficiency,
with thier own Y axis, and all plotted against Torque on the X axis.
I need seperate Y axis as the ranges are all different, e.g. Speed = 0 -
4000rpm, Efficiency = 0-85%, Current = 0-20Amps, Power = 0-150Watts for

Problem adding a vertical line to a graph with months on x-axis
I'm trying to add a vertical line that would indicate the current
month, i.e. May 2007, to a graph with a Line and a Stacked Area, and
months (e.g. January 2004 through December 2007) instead of days on
the x-axis. I've tried different variations of

Chart does not show up in print preview and wont print?
I have chart that is a workbook page but when I select print preview it does
not shown up, only a blank pages comes up. And so it wont print. How can I
fix this? I have Office 2007 and I can not select set print area or clear
print area, they are shaded out.

Is there a way to chart more than 255 bits of data; which is Excel's limit?

Re-Ordering Data Sets in Charts
I have made a 3-D column chart in Excel with about four sets of data; I have
Series 1-4. Series one is much larger than the others, but since it is a 3-D
graph, it is in front and blocks me from seeing the other data series. I was
wondering if there was a way to re-order the data series so that 1 is in the
back and I could see the other three.

column charts on two axis
I am trying to show a column chart on 2 axis. I have chosen the combination
line and column chart to get the 2 axis but when I change the line to a
second column it puts the columns over the top of the first axis columns. How

Scatter Chart
I am trying to create a scatter chart to show points of interest on a map.
I have a column of x co-ordinates, and corresponding y co-ordinates and the
place name (Actually the whole lot comes out of an Access database)
Is it possible to show the labels next to a marker at the appropriate x,y
position. I am assuming somehow it can be done on a scatter chart.

Can Excel create a pie of pie chart that uses this data
Poodles - Qty 2 - 1 black, 1 white
Labradors - Qty 3 - 1 beige, 2 chocolate
Shepherds - Qty 1 - am. standard
Show all the dogs... and then break out the Labradors into a quantity of 3
with a pie of pie showing the different colors? If so? How do I set up the
data? (Hope this makes sense!)...

editing multiple charts excel 2007
I have numerous charts that will eventually be copied into Powerpoint. I want
to edit all of them at one time to have the same formatting. When I choose
more than one chart, the formatting for the charts is not available. This is
very frustrating as now I will have to change each segment of each chart. Is
there a way to choose multiple charts and edit them or am I barking up a very

Bar chart with no zero columns
I have a colums with a hundreds a values and only twenty is real values the
rest is all zero. How do I plot a bar chart showing only the values and omits
the zero values from the chart. My chart is plotting all zero values which
makes it impossible to view. Is there a way of not plotting the zero columns
without filtering the data. I read the previous posts but the NA() allso
shows zero ...

Changing the color scheme for multiple pie charts so they all matc
I have several pie charts that contain similar data. Each time I created a
chart it would give the slice for variable A the color red, then in the next
chart it would give variable A the color blue. How could I make all pie

Data Tables and Conditional Formatting
I have a spreadsheet that is set up with currency values and negative
currency values display in red text. When charting these values, the data
table is all black text.
Is there a way to get the negative currency values in the data table (under
the chart itself) to display the in red text while still displaying the

Resizing trendline title in legend
G'day,
Im having trouble resizing the legend from 3 lines to 1. I have used a
scatter chart and then Add Trendline>Moving average. The legend that
is auto-generated is
"10 per. Mov. Avg. (PROJECTED
INITIAL
YELD"
The title is broken up into 3 lines as above, and no matter how much I
resize or how much big I make the legend area or how small the font,
it INSISTS on using 3 line...
