I Have an error in one of my worksheet
I have an important excel file with 5 sheets and it is 11668 kb. But when I
want to open it all sheet come insted of first one and I have an error

Chart missing when inserted into new page
Excel for some reason cannot display a chart object in it's own page. I
created a workbook at the school computer lab with a chart object in it's own
page-it worked fine. I then copied the file to my laptop and the chart was
missing. I have since tried to create a chart in a new page by inserting a
new sheet from the menu on the sheet tabs. All I get is a grey screen with
all the ribbon ...

Addin file not found
Hi, I downloaded an add-in file from SalesForce.com website and worked
successfully with it.
Some days ago I cleaned my HDD including /Temp.
Since then I cannot use my add-in functions anymore. Each time I launch a
command from the toolbar associated with the add-in I get a message error,
Excel is searching the .xla file into my /Temp path.

Excel 2003 strange new behavior
Excel 2003 started to behave very strange on XP laptop. When the application
is opened it doesn't create or show Book1. If I try to open a saved Excel
file from a shortcut or by clicking on the file Excel opens but the file
doesn't ? The only way that I can open an Excel file is to have the
application opened and to drag and drop the file in the application window.

Choose a value from the score range
I try to enlarge the array from an AVERAGE calculation. However whatever I do
I get the error message: Choose a value from the score range!
I searched the net but cannot find anything on this specific error message.

multiple cells are selected even though I click on only one
Immediately after I inserted some rows into an existing spreadsheet Excel
starts selecting multiple cells even though I click on only one. Sometimes
three cells below the cell I clicked on are selected, sometimes four;
sometimes three or four cells to the left or right. Is this an Excel problem
or does it sound like a Windows OS or device driver problem?...

Toggling Excel 2007
Our office just installed Office 2007, and many of us are having a problem
maximizing Excel 2007 (i.e., toggling) after it has been minimized even for
just a few minutes. The window does not maximize properly and we have to
right-click Excel in the system tray to close it. When we re-open, it looks
fine. This happens whether the user has one monitor or two.

Excel stops responding after attaching worksheet to email
When I select send to as attachment and send a worksheet Excel stops
responding and I have to terminate it in task manager. When I check my
outlook sent items the email was sent and the attachment is there. I have
Excell 2003 SP3. This used to be sporatic and is getting more common....

AutoFilter Dropdown Lists not working
I'm using Excel 2002. I use autofilter a lot and have never had a problem.
However, on the current workspace the autofilter will only let me select from
the dropdown lists occasionally.
So I'll activate autofilter, filter a few columns, enter some data /
formulae, then when I go to change the filters the dropdowns are no longer
"clickable". I then have to deactivate Autofilter and ...

Can't open xlxs files with my Office 2000 xl program.
Is it possible to modify the .xlsx files that the newer XL programs produce
so that I can open them with my older program?

Help - Files (xls) will not open - indicate they are different for
I have several xls files created by Excel 2007 but saved in 2003 format which
will no longer open. I get a message indicating the file is in a different
format from its extension (which is xls). I can not open these in Excel or
Notepad.
Help Please
How can I recover these files *and* how can I prevent this from repeating in
the future?...

Number key are not working on number key pad?
I can not seem to get my number keys to work. One day they were working and
the next day they are not. I have switched key boards and it the same
problem. My regular numbers work but the number key pad is not working.
It also happening in other aps such as word and in email.
Any help. Yes the keyboard is plug in and the num locks are on.

date format displaying as number
I have formatted my date column to dd/mm/yyyy and have typed dates in but
they display as the corrosponding number though the formula bar shows teh
date and if I double click in the cell teh date will display but as soon as I
move to another cell the number reappears what is happening??

Excel 2007 - Starts in preview mode
When I start my Excel 2007, it starts in a blank preview mode (whether
clicking on the Excel Program or an Excel Spreadsheet). The window title I
get is "Preview: Page 1920010 of 1920011". There are no menu controls and I
cannot exit this mode. In fact, I can't do anything with Excel. Is there
anyway to get back to the default openning (new spreadsheet with blank

File SKU112.CAB missing
When I try to use excel 2003 (Office Standard Edition) it tells me this file
SKU112.CAB can not be found. It was a 60 day trial that was pre-installed at
the time I bought my computer. I never did upgrade to full version. It then
tells me that I need to either enter the product code, or enter the disc,

Keep having to reinstall the Help File
At least half a dozeon times now, I've received an error in Excel stating it
cannot open the Help file and asks if I would like to install it.
I can go weeks without it happening, and even have a spreadsheet already
open. When opening a new spreadsheet, when opening a second spreadsheet,
when clicking on a row or column or when clicking on a cell, I receive a

2007-2008 school calender fixes ( formating is off )
Trying this template, it does not allow for certian days to accept data, on

How do i turn OFF compatibility checker
I am trying to automate a process that requires me to save files with
different names. But, every time my macro goes to save a file the
compatibility checker dialog box pops up.
It is only for minor formatting issues but it has more than 70 instances and
gives me no way of finding out which cells are the culprits.

How do you correct "too many different cell formats", message.
