Conditional Paragraphs
OK. Thanks to the support received here I got Conditional Dropdowsn working
nicely.
Now I need to fill a cell with a paragraph of text depending on a dropdown
list selected elsewhere
e.g. If I select Apples from a dropdown list of fruit, in another cell I get
a paragraph telling me about apples.

Inputting a length of time?
Hi
I am trying to calculate depreciation in my Excel spreadsheet. The
depreciation is over 60 months, so for a $6,000 item, the formula is
=$6,000/60 = $100
The problem I am encountering is making that calculation stop after 60
months. So in month 61, the cell reads $0, instead of $100. Is there anyway
in Excel to 'time limit' the effectiveness of a cell's formula?

Conditional Drop Downs
Could anybody please advise me on the best way of having conditional drop
downs.
What I would like is a drop down for my first column that selects from a
list of manufacturers and then from that selection, select a list of
appropriate colours from that manufacturer. This list of manufacturers is
less than 10 but the list of colours per manufacturer is about 50

Table of valid codes
This is a common function in application systems, and I am sure there is
a simple way to do it in Excel, but so far I haven't been smart enough

Slow Opening & Odd Closing
I just instand Office Standard 2007 over Office Pro 2003. Now when I open an
Excel file the Excel window opens, then it takes a very long time before the
file opens. When I click on the "X" for the Excel window - not the "X" below
it for the open file - the file closes, but the Excel window doesn't close
until I click the "X" again.
This works nothing like the Excel 2003 files.

Merging Colums

Can I undo something saved to restore a document?
In excel, I typed info that went from A to Y. I moved the cells from V over
to D so I could type the info in A and B on the end of the doc. I needed to
see A and B, then everything between D and V was hidden. After I finished, I
forgot to move the cells back, and I saved the doc. Can I recover or undo

Returning an Array from a called function within a macro
How do I get a function to return an array. [I know that it should be
doable since the various matrix functions return an array.]
To be more precise I need to do this within a macro. I know how to do
it at the spreadsheet level.
