Letterhead in Excel
I have been asked to supply a worksheet "on letterhead" within Excel.
I'm using Excel 2003.
I believe the request is faulty and cannot be done. (I don't have the
slightest idea on how to create a letterhead "document" in Excel.
Can it be done?

Template help trouble!
I'm using Windows XP SP3 Office 2003 Excel
I got absolutely no answers on this posted in public.excel : Each time I
open a previously designed template the template help window opens also. I
have Startup Task Pane turned off, so how do I keep the template help window
from appearing when I open my template?

Code to Query SQL Server with a parameter value (entered into an Input Box), and have that value also display in a selected cell on a worksheet
I'm wondering how BEST to accomplish this.
I have a EXCEL workbook which populates data to, and retrieves data from SQL
Server.
I currently have VBA code which effectively sends the data from the EXCEL
worksheet to SQL Server tables -- no problem with this.

insurance / loan calculator
I am looking for a calculator template that will allow me to calculate the
amortization for a line of credit where the starting balance would be $0 and
increased by $3000 per year (annual payment), interest rate of 7%, term of
up to 30 years. I would like it to calculate what that line of credit would
be with no payments made or have small payments made. Does this make any

Anybody got some examples or info in this subject ?
I have some data with noise and sharp peaks, and need to automate the
detection of the peaks, without loosing to many and without detecting
noise-peaks.

template and printing
I am using winxp pro and msoffice 2003
If I open my template, as I understand it the template will generate a
new workbook for me.
My question is once it is all opened up, can I import sheets from
another workbook into this one based on my template and then when I
choose print, will it automatically print out on my template?

From Access to Excel template
I use an Access dtabase with a reporting feature. I can export to Excell from
Access. I have created the template that I wish to use, but when I try to
export to excell I do not see the xlt. only the xls.
Do I also need to create a function in the Access database to download what
information I want into the template?

Is there a way in Excel to take a spreadsheet containing new price
adjustments, compare it to my current inventory, make price changes as
necessary on my current inventory spreadsheet, and , then print a list of
changed items?

Simple template or spread sheet for excel 2002
I need a very simple template or spread sheet to calculate interest on say a
20,000 loan to my son or daughter at 12% interest (12% might vary.) which
must add the the daiy interest to the capital and give a monthly total
interest for the month and the total amount due at the end of a month if it's
all repaid on time at the end of the month...Phew.. sorry about..

I'm using excel for multipage baseball stats but....how can I add more
pages so I can keep track of team stats thru the season? When I first
opened it, it had 23 pages -- plus a summary page, but I need like 60

I currently face an (apparently) odd issue. Googling was of no help.
I do have an order form template. When I create a new Excel workbook based
on this template, I would need to retrieve (with VBA) the filename of the
template. I wonder if there is any built-in function allowing me to do this

Default Workbook
I've set up a default workbook according to the Help feature and what
I've read here. As a result my new workbook opens when I start Excel,
when I insert a new worksheet and when I type cntrl N, however when I
click the 'new' button the only option available from the task pane is
'blank workbook' and this one is back in the original format. This

Drop-Down List
I wasn't really sure how to phrase this one -- this isn't your Typical
Drop-Down List.
I have a SELECT statement which queries SQL Server 2005 and displays the
data in Excel.
Let's say that the data queried shows products in 4 different cities,

Template for Win/Loss
I am searching for a template that will compute win/loss totals and
percentages for a one team schedule. i.e. I want to enter the 162 game
schedule for the Mariners and have win and loss columns with a win & loss
total columns and a win percentage column computed from the win/loss
