Project tasks to Pocket PC?
How do I get the BCM project tasks to my Pocket PC? They are standing in the
To-Do-Bar, which is not possible to synchronize over Active Sync with Pocket
PC. I can copy them to the normal task list and back to office I have to
correct the project tasks in Outlook, or? The only way...?...

I have had no issues with BCM or Outlook 2007 until recently when I tried to
create a new business project and received the error message: ‘Could not load
an object because it is not available on this machine.'
I have created and saved projects in the past and now I cannot access them.
The only thing I can think of is that I had re-named my computer recently

What How Where to install BCM
My company has upgraded us to Outlook 2007. I would like to install BCM
without having to go thru our IT department. Is there a trial version that
is ONLY BCM and not all of OFFICE. Where might I find only the BCM
installation files. It seems as though it is cluttered in with Office our
the Outlook CD's?...

How do I get the Job Title Field to match fields for mail merge

Project Tasks to Pocket PC??
How do I get the project tasks to my Pocket PC? They are listed in the

Contact Name in Account View (BCM)
This seems like a silly question, even to me, but no where can I find how to
have the contacts attached to a given account listed by name when viewing
that account. All the contacts are listed by title, phone number and email.
Is there a way to change this?

Opportunities and multiple contacts
Hi
Newbee question so might be being dumb here. How can I have an opportunity
where more than one Account or Contact are linked to it? I have several joint
projects where there are numerous parties but I can only have one "Linked To"
at a time.

Mail merge with as many as 60 custom fields in Outlook
Can someone please confirm I am on the right track here? Prowrite is not
installing with Vista and outlook 2007. I am reaching the conclusion I can
manage my snail mail out of Outlook 2007 almost the same way I did with

connecting to sql express 2008
hi
i have installed sql express 2008 on my pc when i installed business contact
manager for office 2007 it didn't ask me to use existing database it just
installed express 2005 then from database tools when i tried to connect to
another instance from 2008 it don't shows them in the drop down list, so is
BCM for office 2007 compatable with SQL Express 2008 ? and how to choose 2008

Can I use BCM with a SBS server ?
Hi, do I need to have my computer on and connected to the network so my
workgroup of 10 people can access the shared data, or is it possible to move
a BCM database to a Windows server instead ? I'l like to centralise things
instead of being dependent on my specific workstation.

BCM Crashing
I recently installed Office 2007 BCM at customer's site. I have the DB on
Server 2003 SP2 with SQL Server Express SP2. I used the BCM Database tool to
create a new database and assign permissions.
For some reason and it is not predictable, the customer will update a record
and Outlook will freeze and close.
I increased to polling to 30 seconds.
Any advice?...

Can I import "word" documents into Business Contact Manager?
I have over 40,000 "word" documents that are resumes. I would like to import
these resumes to Business contact manger and have each resume be a separte
contact. I was also wondering if you can creat "folders" within BCM Such as
-(Oregon Resumes) and then have all of the resumes in that folder?...

accessing information remotely
am a total newbie to BCM, other than that I have installed it, seen some of
the screens, and not implemented in my org. One of the reasons was that when
I first got it and went online to ask, I believe I was told there is not
really a way to integrate the BCM information with my regular contacts, to
allow for having some of that information go across and synch in my Exchange
environment...

Disabled Add-in
How can I enable the BCM add-in?
The BCM menu has disappeared. I have selected Tools, Trust Centers, Add-ins
and found that the BCM add-in is listed as disabled. I double click and
check the box, but this does not allow me to see the menu or use the BCM
features. I reinstalled, but no change.

HOW can Outlook 2007 "Alert" me of Birthdays
Is there a way - after I enter a Birthday into all Contacts - that I will be
alerted when I open Outlook that so-n-so has a Birthday?
I don't check my Calendar daily, sorry, but I would like to be alerted via

MSBCM File Extension
I recently tried to import my business contact manager files (accounts,
business contact, etc.) from an Outlook 2003 backup to Outlook 2007. For
some reason, Outlook 2007 isn't recognizing the file because it has a "msbcm"
file extension rather than a "bcm" file extension.
Please note that I was able to import the files to another Outlook 2003

Cannot Share BCM Databse - Outlook 2007 - "Cannot access Database.

Installation BCM 2007 from trial version into my Office 2007?
BCM 2007 is not in all Office 2007 versions included. is it possible to use

Business Contact Manager failed to initialize the Common Language
Running Outlook 2007; Vista Home prem SP1. When I open Outlook I get

Today I went on my outlook and all of my contacts have been duplicated. So I

Email Marketing Service says it sends but not sending
I have tried everything I can think of but the email marketing service in
business contact manager doesn't actually send anything. It wouldn't allow me
