Retrieiving contacts off external drive
My harddrive crashed. Copied all data to external drive before crash. New
harddrive installed. I use Vista. I cannot make my contacts appear on my
Outlook 2007. I have read the tutorial and many questions, but it doesn't
seem to help. Please completely explain (in layman's terms) how to do this.

Mail Merge Labels from Word 2007
In trying to use the Wizard to produce labels from Word 2007 when I try to
match fields in the Address Block the mailing address fields are not
available to select to match. How do I get these fields to become available
data for the labels?

Export Contact Mailing Address to Excel
I'm running Outlook 2003. Each contact can have multiple addresses (i.e.,
Home, Business, Other), and I can use a check box to mark one of them as the
mailing address. I want to export the contact name and only the mailing
address to a Microsoft Excel worksheet or a comma-separated value (CSV) text
file. How can I do that?

Saving Distribution Lists Received By Email
Hi,
I have searched a number of forums and been unable to find the answer to
this question.
My colleague (also using Outlook 2003 on the same network as me) emailed me
one of her distribution lists. We do not want to "share" our contacts with
each other, but I would like to save this distribution list into my own

Outlook formatted phone numbers and now doesn't. How 2 get back?
Outlook 2007 migrated from 2003. When originally installed Outlook formatted
phone numbers into (nnn) nnn-nnnn when the number was entered nnnnnnnnnn. Now

How do I combine two Contacts folders?
For some reason, I have two folders. I do not know when and how this

Adding to contact via email received 'Add to Outlook Contacts...'
I want to use the 'Add to Outlook Contacts...' feature to add a contact into
my contact list from an email that I have received.
I have 2 contact lists - one on Exchange and one in my local .pst file.
I would like to add the contact directly to the list maintained in Exchange.
However, Outlook only allows me to add to my local .pst file.

Allowing others to create a distribution list for you
I have the authority to enter and edit my boss's contacts.
However, he has asked me to create a distribution list for him using the
stack of business cards he gave me. These contacts have already been entered
in his Contacts list. I just need to create a distribution list.
It won't let me.

LDAP problem
Hello;
I am having great difficulty trying to resolve an ldap issue that my users
are having in outlook 2007. We are presently in the process of upgrading from
office 2000 to office 2007. The problem did not occur in outlook 2000. The
problem is:
In outlook 2007, if a user does an ldap search on approximately 6 or more
users, and than tries sending the message, a Microsoft LDAP error...

Envelop Addresses
I have Office Professional 2007. I use Contact address book when I'm in word
preparing an envelop. I'm unable to get both the full name field and the
company field to print on the envelop with the address. The default seems to
be the full name field if both the name and company fields are populated.

Exports Outlook Contacts
I have an outlook 2003 contact folder that I would like to export to an excel
spreadsheet. My problem is that I want to export the address based on the
box that is checked denoting "This is the mail to address". I cannot find a
field anywhere that denotes which address (business, home, or other) is the

Outlook Contacts .pst versus .pab file
I will try to be as clear as I can. Our facility does not have Exchange
unfortunately. I do have a way of backing up Outlook data. I export a .pst
file to the server under the users drive. Then I change the data file to
read that .pst file from that point on so nothing is stored locally on the
client. The file is then backed up every night. Thought I was smart doing

Share contacts in Outlook 2003

Stored Email Addresses when you start typing in an email address
Good Day
I moved a pst file from one XP user profile to another and after doing that,
Outlook does not pick up email addresses when you start typing in the to bar
like it used to, does anyone know if there is a way to restore the cached
email addresses, is it lying in some file that i can move accross profiles.

Can I set my current view to match the print size
I am using Outlook 2003, and Contacts is my default opening page.
I would like to configure the view so that the width of the columns will be
