Office 2003 cannot open emails from Outlook 2007
I was suprised to find that a user's Outlook 2003 cannot open or replay to
any emails sent from Outlook 2007. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the
product and fully updated it, but have not fixed the problem....

Outlook Empties my Yahoo Inbox
Each time I access my Outlook it empties all my
messages from the in-box of my other e-mail recepient.
How do I stop Outlook from emptying my mails from the inbox of my SBCGlobal

recovering email addresses not in contact list
I have sent about 500 emails all ending in same company after the "@" like
jjones@xcompany.com, hsmith@xcompany.com etc. None of these are in my
contact/address book.
I would like to capture all these emails so I can send informational emails
to them. They are all my customers so there is not a legal problem.
How can I do this without typing in each one individually?

Using Outlook for Contacts, Only
Is there a way to configure Outlook to manage contacts only? I don't use it
for email (I use MSN), and have 2000+ emails that are in the inbox. I think
if I delete them on Outlook, they'll be deleted from MSN? I don't want them
in both places. Help, please!...

Moving items to a new Deleted Items folder
I set up additional InBox and Sent Items folders under "Personal Folders" -
one set of folders for personal emails and one for work related emails. I
also set up an additional Deleted Items folder. When I delete an email
(either in my Sent Items or InBox), I would like it to go into the
appropriate Deleted Items folder, i.e., personal Deleted Items and

Help: Outlook 2007 Dowloading Duplicate Emails for Same Email Acc
Hi All,
I am running Outlook 2007 on a Windows Vista machine. I have recently set up
a second email account in Outlook. I have no problems sending or receiving
from either account, however when I recieve email for the new email account

Email this file Outlook vs OE
Two users in XP; Bob uses Outlook and Mary uses Outlook Express.
Mary in Windows Explorer > My Pictures selects pics and clicks on "Email
this file" to send to someone, but e-mail form that opens is Outlook instead
of Outlook Express which doesn't have her contact list. How does she

Problems with Messages
I open a message if it has a reply activation or attachment it automatically
wants to save it into My Documents. Which means I cant activate what the
message wants me to because it brings up this wanting to save it and won't go
past that....

I now can't send or receive emails. Iv'e been able to for years

Outlook categorization issues
All of the tasks I've edited today are being incorrectly categorized.
Although they have categories assigned to them, when I try to group my tasks
by categories, they all show up as uncategorized.
I make very extensive use of categories to help me group tasks according to
specific types of work that I do, so this presents a very serious problem for

Downloading emails problem
Recently, Outlook developed a problem. Emails download to a point then an
error message appears and TalkTalk say theis a problem with Microsoft but the

Okay, new at this
Last year I had my Verizon email re-routed to come through Outlook . 2 weeks
ago my computer crashed. I had to have it repaired where it was wiped out.
Now I have lost all my "Outlook" email. I also had Yahoo email but not
redirected and have been able to recover the yahoo email . Is there a way to
recover my verizon email or is it lost for good?...

Desktop alert disappeared
I am using Outlook 2007 and Vista Ultimate, with an Exchange server. The
desktop alert has stopped working: no sound, no envelope, no icon. I can
create a rule to get sound and the envelope, but the icon in the task bar
still does not show up. All boxes related to desktop alerts are checked.

How can I delete a message in the Outbox. It won't let me cancel
I don't seem to be able to get rid of a message in my outbox. I've tried to
send photos and a message to a friend but it sits in the outbox and won't
move. It hasn't been sent but the send and receive box states completed.
It doesn't show up as sent in the sent box. when I try to press delete in
the outbox it won't budge. What else can I do to get rid of the message?

OUTLOOK 2000
I bought a new HP laptop model #DV5-1002nr. Loaded Office 2000. All works
well except Outlook. After going through initial setup procedures, we get an
error message that says "MICROSOFT OFFICE HAS STOPPED WORKING. A problem
caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program
