Duplicate folders ???
Using WinMail in Vista I can create a folder within my "personal" list.
However when I try to move an email from the inbox to one of my created
folders, the folder name appears twice in the move to index. Selecting one
of those names does move the email to the intended folder. Choosing the
duplicate name in the move to list removes the email from the inbox but does
not put it anyplace...

Outlook 2003 send/receive slow
I've searched for answers to this but can't find anything that sounds exactly
like my issue.
When I open Outlook emails arrive nice a quickly - no problem.
When I send an email, even just a one word 'test', send/receive takes a long
time, around 30-40 seconds.
The emails eventually go, but they used to go instantly.

Tracking read reciepts messages from blackberry
Is there a way of tracking the read receipts messages received from a
Blackberry device? The thing is, I receive the read receipt messages from my
coworkers when they read the emails in there blackberry, but this read
receipt does not reflect in the tracking tab of the message. How can I get
outlook to to do that?...

Archiving Problems
I am trying to “clean up†Outlook (version 2002) and reduce the size of my
Outlook.pst file. Sometimes, but not all of the time, when I archive the
archived files appear in my Folder List. My questions:
1. When you archive, aren’t the files supposed to be put into a separate
archive file thus reducing the Outlook.pst file
2. Why ARE the archive files put into the Folder list an...

Link an item to multiple contacts
Hi all.
I am using Oulook 2007.
As explained in Microsoft KB article KB298749 to link a new item to a
contact the next actions have to be done:
1) Create an item, such as a new task or message.

Outlook Contact Status Unknown
I sync Microsoft CRM 4.0 and Outlook 2007 on my machine. I have been trying
to track my contacts in CRM from Outlook and the button is not there for some
of them. I found out that it is because some of my contacts say "Contact
Status Unknown" and those are the ones that do not allow me to track in CRM.

why does my screen jump to top when i am typing an email?
When i am typing an email and it has initially scrolled down so that the
cursor remains in view, the screen view - not the cursor - suddenly jumps to
top of email again. this is EXTREMELY annoying (and quickly going beyond
that). even if i scroll the screen back down, it does it repeatedly. GRRRR....

Transfer Data Files
I bought a new bigger hard drive for my laptop. I need to save all my
settings and emails from outlook. I have an old .pst file from the last time
i had to rebuild the drive. I am able to bring it over just fine. I have
another file called gmail.pst that when I attempt to copy it to my external
drive I get an error that reads: "Cannot copy gmail: data error (cyclic
redundancy error)...

Editing Many Subject Titles in my Inbox
I'm using MS-Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista.
As you know, Outlook allows you to edit the subject line of an email someone sends you. You can add a reference or tracking number, or whatever you want.

Excel 2007 attachments
I am able to preview but not open or save Excel 2007 .xls email attachments.
I am using Outlook 2007. When I try to open the attachment in outlook, Excel
starts but I get a message "the system cannot find the file specified". When
I try to save the attachment it is saved as an unknown file type....

Outlook Hyperlinks and 3rd Party Web Browsers
I had a problem with a 3rd party browser called Maxthon. When I
uninstalled it I began having problems opening hyperlinks in my Outlook.

MS Personal Folders Backup Tool
We have been using the PF Backup for a long time, but recently had trouble
with Outlook and had to create new profiles and restore a backed-up .PST
file. Now the PF Backup always shows no files listed under .PST files to
back up. There is no way to tell it where to look, and our .PST files are in

Weird Info Message at top of my emails
I have Outlook 2002 with SP3 installed - I've used it fine for years. All of

Outlook converting emails to contacts?

have 2003 PST file need help
Last night my pc failed and I had to reinstall Windows XP Pro on it. I lost
all programs including Office 2003 I had to go back to Office 2002 and I
have a pst file from my outlook 2003 that I would love to import into my
outlook 2002.
Is it possible? I keep getting file is not compatible with this version.
Any ideas or suggestions?

error message when closing outlook
I'm running Windows XP and Outlook 2003.
Every single time I close Outlook I get the following error message:
Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close.
My IT guy has reinstalled Outlook twice and that didn't help.
Help please. I am SO frustrated....

Why is my reading pane blank even though I've selected a message?

Outlook 2007, after shutting down it will not restart
Running Vista Home Premium. Outlook will not start back up after it has been
shut down without doing a restart for the PC. Additionally the PC is very
slow to restart only after I have tried restarting Outlook, otherwise it will
restart as expected if I have not tried to restart Outlook.
