Permissions for folders in my Personal Folders
For some reason, all the folders in my Personal Folders (except the Inbox and
Sent folders) have their permissions reset so that Outlook does not allow me
to move messages into those folders. When I try to look up properties of
those folders, the "Folder is Available to" property in the "Administration"
tab is disabled. I am not able to find out the owner of the folders or the
permission...

"Locking" the tasks-bar
For the umpteenth time in just a few days I have inadvertently clicked on the
row up at the top of the Tasks pane (that has the column titles, such as
Subject, priority, date due, etc.). This removes all my sorting and
grouping, and requires I go drilling down to set them up right again.
Is there any way I can "lock" my settings so one silly click doesn't goof
this up? I am starting t...

Large mail folder?
Office Outlook 2007, Windows Vista Ultimate. Both fully updated.
On and off for the past year or two I have "lost" incoming mail. Much of it
of rather significant importance.
Today, I happened to look at the bottom of my long list of folders. Whoa! I
said to myself. What is this folder called "Large Mail?" Yep all of the lost
incoming messages. Yes, many are 8, 7, 6, and 5 MB in size. ...

Outlook freezes
Everytime I get an e-mail from one specific sender it causes my Outlook to
freeze up. I never have to restart, but it will be frozen for a couple of
minutes before I can read the e-mail. I have no problems with any other
e-mails, just ones from this specific sender. Most are small e-mails with
just text, no files, no images. E-mail is through our Exchange 2007 server. I

Positioning pictures in 2007
I'm trying to create a newsletter style email, with a nice textured
background, carefully formatted text and pictures mixed in with captions.
I've done similar things in Word 2007 before, so I know where all the tools
are. The problem I'm having is in positioning the pictures and their

Outloook 2003: Hyperlinks are not working correctly
I have a user that when she clicks on a hyperlink, IE will open to her
homepage but will not go the link.
I have restored all the default setting in IE and ran the IEFix batch file
to register the DLL files, but still only the home page is coming up.
Any suggestions?...

Why do I see "item cannot be displayed" when I go to read email?
We are using Outlook 2007 and when I click to read an email, I get a line in
the preview section "This item cannot be displayed int he Reading Pane. Open
the item to read its contents." When I do that, I then receive a message
saying that it has not fully downloaded. How can I fix this problem. It is
really bothering my boss......

Synch folder in Outlook 2003
The synch folder for Outlook 2003 is about 115k+ and I beleive it is causing
messages not to be sent. How can this issue be addressed?

How manage email forwarded from 7 different people
I need to monitor email that is received by different employees. I can have
copies of that email sent to my inbox, but I need to have mail that is sent
to each employee delivered to separate folders. I am not working on a local
network, but through the internet.
I do not see how this is possible using rules unless I am missing something.
There is no "forwarded from" selection that I ...

Change formatting of tasks based on Priority
I would like to format my tasks (color and size of font) based on their
priority. I.e., I'd like tasks marked "high" to be one color/size font, and
other tasks marked "normal" to be another. Is this possible, without manually
doing this myself each and every time I create a new task?

i can't find the "SEND" button in outlook 2007! can find everything else! can

Junk Email showing up in inbox and junk email folder
My company uses Outlook 2007 and our email server is an IMAP server. In the
last month, the junk email is not only being sent into the junk email folder
but a copy is also showing up in my inbox labeled [SPAM]. It is quite
frustrating having to sift through and delete all of these messages everyday.
Any suggestions?

multiple accounts but it always send from default
I have Vista Ultimate and Outlook 2007. I have multiple email accounts,
home, work but it always sends from the home account. Even when I choose a
different account it always sends from the home account. user ids and
passwords are different. Ideally I'd like it to just replay from the account
that received the email without having to choose....

I use to be able to add a midi file to my e mail and now it doesn't work. I

Any idea why a single occurrence becomes recurring meetings in out
I'm running Office 2003 and experience situations where the scheduling of a
single meeting occurrence translates into a recurring meeting in some users'
Outlook calendars. It appears that it happens to users utilizing laptops. Any

How do I view an email message as a web page? (Outlook 2007)
I just received an email which looks like it mostly consists of HTML
statements. This is a sender I frequently receive email from and I have
never had this problem before. In the message, it says "If you are having
trouble viewing this email, view it as a Web page." Unfortunately, I don't
know how to do this. Any assistance will be appreciated....

Outlook junk email filter will not stop blocking
I am using Office 2007 using XP.
Within the last few weeks, Outlook is sending most messages to Junk Email
folder. I have switched the setting to no filtering in Junk Email options.
I have erased all of the blocked senders list. I have repeatedly told
Outlook to always trust the addresses and it does not work. It also blocks
people from my contact list and people that are responding...

double receipt of mail from unix mail server
I have Outlook configured with 2 mail accounts. The first is to our Exchange
server and the second is to a mail server on an HP-UX system (HP-UX 11.23
64-bit Itanium).
All of the mail received from the HP system is received twice - that is, for
every msg in my unix mailbox, I get two copies in my local inbox. I have

Exported e-mail address has SMTP after address
When exporting contacts from Outlook to Excel the email address has SMTP
immediately following the address. i.e. Joe.Smith@hotmail.comSMTP. When I
try to send e-mails in a mail merge, Outlook will not send them because it
doesn't like the format. What can I do to avoid this problem? Thank you....

HELP!!!
I have a licensed version of office suites 2007. I opened a email attachment
from a known source and since have spent the remainder of my day trying to
fix what is wrong.
The attachment I opened I couldn't delete or CNTRL ALT DELETE so I shut off
