Outlook missing "More Settings" button
I have a user that has admin rights on the laptop. it is windows xp, and
Outlook 2003.
when you go Tools - Email Accounts, select the account, click the "change"
button...
there should be a "more settings" button. that button does not exist on her
pc. and she has local admin rights on the pc.
i've reinstalled office, i've done the button restore option, I also logged

Inserted photos are poor quality once email is sent
Why is it that when I insert a great quality 2 mb photo into an email the
picture is compressed to 69kb and the quality is greatly diminished once the
email is sent? Is there any way to change this so that the inserted pictures
keep their original size and quality? Thank you....

Is there a default setting for email addresses to show name only
When creating contacts, I set the dsiplay tab for the name only (not email
address - example...Jane Doe, not jane.doe@xxx.com). There must be a default
setting to control this because the addresses defaault back to
jane.doe@xxx.com at least monthly. Does anyone know how to prevent this?
Many of my email recipients don't mind their name showing but don't want the
email address to show ...

Outlook 2003
Recently (7 days ago)migrated from XP to vista home basic on a new compaq
notebook. Outlook 2003 freezes . Sometimes it takes 15-20 seconds for a new
email or reply to go to outbox. I have disabled AV email scan - no effect. HP
system, with HP auto-update.
Use task manager to exit - message is outlook not responding

Group emails based on Sender and Recipient email address
I am using Outlook 2007.
I have grouped the inbox emails based on the field "From" that is not the
sender email address but the name that the sender wants to be displayed.
It happens not so rarely that the sender changes the name he/she wants to be

Outlook 2003 slow to show emails
I've posted this before, and didn't receive a response, so I'm really hoping
someone can help me out here.

Outlook 2007 in cached mode
We are facing a wiered issue when we use outlook 2007 in cached mode along
with outlook configured to deliver mails to .pst file directly.
The issues is use gets a duplicate email.
When checked through OWA on copy still resides on the inbox and the
duplicate mails keeps coming till the mail struck in Mailbox through OWA.

Openning attachments question
Dear All
My problem is I have tow copies of Microsoft Office installed on my computer
(2003 & 2007) so when I get an e-mail on Outlook 2007 with an Excel sttached
file I tried to open it with Office Excel 2007 but it opens with Excel 2003.

Outlook 2003, syncing with my online email account
Can anyone help me, I have just setup my Outlook 2003 to send and receive
emails via my bt internet email address. The program has not updated the sub
folders which I have created when I normally use my email account online, how
can I do this?? I have an iphone and this automatically syncs or configures
itself with my online email account no problem!

Convert Outlook ".pst" file into ".csv" file
Hi
Does anyone know if there is a free program available (or if there is
any way available) to convert the Outlook 2003 .pst contacts file into
a .csv file? This would be a miracle right now! Outlook has some fancy
export options... but sadly none to make the contacts turn into a .csv
file!

Setting Categories on Shared Mailboxes

I've configured my personal and work email addresses on Outlook and both are
working fine. My only issue is that I would like for both to have seperate
Inboxes. Right now both are being directed to the same (and only) Inbox on

Event calendar problem when changing time zones
I have put in a lot of all day events in my calendar including US and
Canadian holidays put in by Outlook. I frequently change time zones. When I
change time zones the event stretches into a previous or following day and is

Outlook 2003-messages stuck in Outbox
I have been "cleaning" out my Inbox and Sent Messages file etx, because I
realize that if the inbox is too large, messages will get stuck. But the
messages are still getting stuck.

Resetting list of senders who have received automated replies
After much gnashing of teeth, hair pulling, cussing and many, many
hours of research, I finally figured out why I can't send more than
one automated reply to the same person. Apparently, this is a
feature.

backing up Outlook by copying the .pst file?
Hello,
I have a large Outlook.pst file (2GB) and have been copying this file
as a way of backing up Outlook emails etc rather than the slower
method of exporting individual folders as .pst files.
Is this OK?

why outlook1.pst and outlook.pst?
Hello,
A friend's PC using Outlook 2003 has 2 .pst files - Outlook.pst and
Outlook1.pst in Documents and Settings\<his name>\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook..
One is about 1/10 the size of the other and one starts with upper case
letter O and the other with lower case letter o. I cannot remember
which way round.
Why are there 2 .pst files?
