Out of office attachment
Is there any way to attach a file to the out of office assistant like you do
your regular email? or is there some kind of auto response I can use to do
the this?

How do I receive messages stored in Lycos folders?
I have a Lycos account with 12 years of emails, stored into folders. I have
set up Outlook through POP3 to receive message from the Lycos account, but
only get the ones in the Inbox. How can I download/receive all of my emails
from Lycos into Outlook. I am doing this primarily to backup my Lycos emails
in case they go bust or in case I wish to switch email providers....

can't find Personal Folders in outlook2007
My mail folders in outlook has been changed (by a techhie trying to fix
another prob). Previously under Mail Folders i had 2 master files- one called
Personal Folders with Inbox, Outbox, Sent, Drafts etc. inside this folder and
another called Archive Folders
Now I have just one master file called Achive Folders with Inbox, Outbox,
Sent, Drafts etc all within this one super folder. And P...

Outlook 2007 Import from Win Mail
For the purists amoung us...
I am using Windows Mail/Vista. If I install Outlook 2007, when I import my
emails, settings etc, will it import all of my folders (I have a bunch) and
their email contents? It's about 2500 emails.
Will they import as labeled "Imported Folders" underneath the regular list
of folders?
Will I be able to drag and drop them into the regular folders section?

using AutoArchive w/ Outlook Connector and Windows Live Hotmail
After installing Outlook Connector 12.1, AutoArchive is not working. I have
been using AutoArchive to pull items from my deleted items folder so Windows
Live Hotmail does not delete them and they can be kept in my archive folder.
I confugure AutoArchive to run every 1 day then configure the deleted items
folder to clean out items older than 1 day. The expected result is for there

Outlook express no longer searched
I used to see outlook express in my search folders for windows search 4. i
not longer see outlook express so my folders are not indexing.

Can't send e-mail when traveling...
Help! I must have some box checked somewhere that's causing this to happen
but I can't find what or where! I send and receive e-mails from my Outlook
application from my home network with ease. But if I travel - to Texas, to
North Carolina, to Illinois, to anywhere - and I am using someone else's
network (a hotel's, a restaurant's or even at my sister-in-law's home), I can

Send email from Outlook in Office Pro 2002
Outlook just stopped sending email. Still receive email. Get error message
that says [version 2002 (10.6838.6845) SP3 and all Office software is updated
current as is Windows] the mail server will not let me login and tells me to

Viewing messages
I have just got Outlook 2007 after many years of 2003 and I have a couple of
configuration questions that I just cannot seem to find the answer to: (I
know these are simple problems, I jus cannot figure it out)
1. Some messages are not coming into the viewing pane in the fonts they
should be using. I publish a newsletter which looks great when I view it in
IE but all the fonts are gone...

merge work and home email into one inbox
I'm in the process of setting in a new laptop running Windows Vista Business.
I've successfully added both my home and work email accounts to outlook
2007. However, in during so, outlook created two separate inboxes--one for
my home email and one for my work email. I want to merge these two inboxes

Installing outlook 2007 to evaluate- isn't installing
I am trying to evalate Outlook 2007 to see if I can get the google calendar
sync to work- when I install my trial office 2007 everything but Outlook
installs. I have outlook 2000 installed and am currently using that- is that
why?
When I go thru a custom install when I click the outlook options, everything

Outlook 2000 Will Not Send
I replaced my Win98 client with an XP Pro box. The server is running NT4 and
the mail server is running Exchange 5.5. I installed Outlook 2000 and
configured it the same way it had been on the Win98 machine but I can't send
any mail to an internet mailbox. I can send mail to other mailboxes on our
network but nothing outside. Outlook will receive internet mail or from
within the shop.

This would seem simple. I was using Ouotlook 2003 on a Windows XP computer.
I have just installed Outlook 2007 on a new computer. I copied my 2003
backup files onto a disk. I now want to use them in 2007. How do I do this?

Problem restoring backup emails, contacts, calendars
I recently had to send my laptop in for service, so I backed up all of my
emails, calendar, contacts, etc. to a .pst before sending. I also deleted all
the same from Outlook before sending.
Now that I have my computer back, I want to restore all of the above data. I
use File/Open/Outlook Data File. Outlook imports the file, but then erases

sender tagged as spam
when I send emails, i get sent straight to the receiver's junk box and my
emails has tagged in the subject line with spam! what can i do to make it

change default pst file outlook 2000
i had a problem with a pst file that was larger than 2g using outlook 2000. i
fixed it but now outlook is receiving mail to an archive folder, not my
outlook pst folder. how do i change it so that email-both in and out goes to
that pst account. further, when i ran the repair tool it renamed my inbox,

Outlook 2003 mapi32.dll error
I just installed Office 2003 from a disk and cannot open Outlook. I get this
error message instead:
Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong
version. This could have been caused by installing other messaging software.
Please reinstall Outlook.
Reinstallation does not help. All other Office programs work fine.
Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

Show total messages in Nav screen but unread in Outlook Today scre
I just 'upgraded' from Outlook 2003 to 2007. I have multiple mailboxes and
they show as subfolders under the Inbox in the Navigation screen to the left.
I have set them to show Total messages (not just Unread). In the Outlook

MST problem with OutLook
Hello all.
I have been trying to set up a MST file to run and install OutLook 2003 with
a default profile but its not working. I am using the MS utility to build the
MST file.
Here are the system settings
The client Pcs ( about 180) have a mix of MS Office 2000 or MS Office 2003

Installing outlook 2003 in Vista
I have just bought a new laptop and am trying to install office 2003.
Everything is working fine except outlook which is giving me an error message
