I just installed Office 2007 and I am having some problems with word. When I

shows up as just a line of some garbled text. And some links also show up as
some garbled text. This happens only in Pint Layout. If I change it to Full

I clicked on "correct two initial capitals" under tools.Need help
My main keying frustration iin WOrd is I can't autocorrect two initial
capitals when my finger seems to move too quickly in time to release my
other finger from the shift key, as shown above inadvertantly in WOrd. I
have checked and rechecked the option to auto correct under "tools",
"spelling options" but it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Mailmerge data is different size than the rest of document
Greetings!
I'm doing a mailmerge and all is looking great, except that the data
in the merge is in a different font size than the rest of the
document.
It is of note that only two of the fields (out of 10) are in the
incorrect size.
I have selected the entire document and made the font size 11 pt.
Then I have gone into the Excel file where the data resides, selected
the entire tab...

Garbled print output
Hi - I am running Word XP/2002 (10.6826.6825) SP3 on Windows XP SP2.
Recently, I have had trouble when changing printer selection in Word: the
printed output, and the print preview or print layout view, show the text
apparently collapsed to the left-hand margin. This is intermittent, and
closing and re-opening Word sometimes (not always) clears the problem. It
happens on a variety of pri...

WORD 2003 problem
Dear,
I use WORD 2003 within Office 2003, Windows professional XP. Lastly the
software open new documents only in Normal View (& refuse to switch to Print
View). Another malfunction is that existing documents, not all of them, are
opened only through "open and repair" command, while the same documents are
opened normally within other computers with WORD 2003.
I tried the Office: "Detect ...

"Find" and "Find and Replace" Not Working
I have MS Office Word 2003. My "find" (CTRL-F) and "find and replace"
(CTRL-H) functions are no longer working. That is, when I type either of
those two shortcuts, the "find and replace" input box does come up on the
screen, but when I type in a word and hit enter or click "find," nothing
happens.
Any ideas? I have a final exam coming up so any help would be much
appreciated....

Please help me recover my file and work!
I was working on a 40 page, 65,000 character Word 2003 document. It had a lot
of cross references to numbers. I pressed ctrl-A then ctrl-F9 to update the
references. Then it looked like Word did nothing. I couldn't de-select
anything. I closed out the document. I'm not sure if Word asked me to save
changes, and I save constantly.
So I quit Word and re-opened the document. At the bottom ...

Here's a weird one ...
In Word 2003, clicking on the File menu gives a list of recently used
files. For some inexplicable reason, my copy of Word will give me all
the most recently used files I want, AS LONG AS it's not THE most
recent. That is never in the list. I've tried renaming, rearranging,
even re-installing. Nothing helps.
What's up with _THAT_ ???

Wrong characters when saving in 97-2003 format
I have a Word 2003 document that has syntax like this:
Jack's letter to Jill had words ("Text") and she liked it.
When I open the .doc in 2007 it looks correct. If I save it in 2007 (.docx)
format it saves correctly and prints correctly.
However, if I down-save it to 97/2003, .doc, and then open the document in
Word 2003, the sentence comes out like this:
Jack=s letter to Jill...

Word2007 memory usage
I have a document, actually a book, around 500 pages, with lots of tables and
pictures. The file size is 15Mbs. When opening the document in Word 2003 (to

RAM and 150Mbs of virtual memory and I can edit it flawlessly. When opening
