Does it exist? If so, where?! The only converters I have found from

Header field errors in WinWord, created & okay on Mac
How do you do, stout-hearted volunteers? I've got an interesting need
here:
I created a manual (for TV-station production software) in Mac Word
2004, with StyleRef fields in the headers to show what
chapter/subchapter that page is in. Works fine for me, and pdf's print
correctly.
But when the software company people open the document in Word 2003 in
Windows, the header shows some kind...

DOC to PDF: how to create/save a document in PDF format
Apparently Word does not provide a facility to save a document in PDF
format.
The Microsoft site points to a list of approved vendors (or some
designation like it) software but all I saw was PDF to DOC converters;
I want to go the other way, from DOC to PDF.
Ideally, I would like to simply save the document in PDF format. I
have looked at CutePDF, which looks like a virtual printer ...

Converting a Wordperfect Document Causes Word 2000 to Crash
A friend e-mailed me an important file in Wordperfect format and I've now
spent about two hours trying to open it. I've updated my Office 2000 suite
at Microsoft's Office website, and I've inserted my Office 2000 CD when
asked. Nevertheless, every time I try to open the .wpd file, Word 2000
crashes. This is ridiculous.
Could someone please convert this one little file that's currently r...

Killing an "attached template" reference
Today I was asked to look into why it was taking so long for certain Documents to open
(3-4 mins). I found that it was because the "attached templates" that documents were based
on had a workgroup directory that no longer exists.
We had converted from wd'97/WinNT to wd'03/XP and, in the process, the directory's UNC had
changed.
As I understand it, the purpose of an attached template is to a...

regular HTML.) and then saving again as a DOC file.
BTW, In the Options dialog for both ToC and ToF, I made sure that the
appropriate style names were checked

this kind of complete text extraction?
