Convert Word 2000 Doc to .pdf
When I try to convert a Word 2000 document to an Adobe .pdf document for
emailing, it "hangs" about half way through the initial conversion
("printing") and the Word progrram stops responding. Any ideas how to
correct this problem, or what I should look for? (I did check the "printers"
available and did NOT see anything that looked like it was a .pdf writer.)

Converting Word 2003 to HTML En Mass
Hi Everyone,
I have a whole bunch of word documents that I would like to upload so
as they can be far more easily searched and referenced.
Let's assume there is a folder with, say 10 documents, with screen
shots, formatting, indents etc... (lots of different designers), and i
want to convert them on mass...
Where would I begin?
Thanks in advance...

Importing Data into Access from Word / txt files
I have a Word 2000 template that I convert to a txt file to import
data into Access.
Two different areas are giving me problems.
First is a check box that whether it's checked or not does not show
up in the text file. The field label is there, no results though.
Second is similar. It's a drop down box with multiple choices.
Again, the label is in the text file, but no results....

Word to pdf conversion
Please forgive me if this has been requested before. I have done a search
can't find it.
I have a Word document with a table of contents. As I click on each item in
the toc the cursor jumps to the correct place in the document. Great.
When I convert the document to pdf using the real Adobe pdf printer driver,
these hyperlinks are not transferring.
If I put a normal hyperlink into th...

PDF to Word conversion...
I have just purchased the PDF to MS Word converter "VeryPDF PDF2Word v.
3.0".
It keeps the original layout almost 100% (text, pictures, tables), but it
would insert a Hard Return after each line of text.
If I want to process this Word file, it needs some cleanup (replacing
several hard returns within various paragraphs).
Is there another PDF to Word converter which is equally good in reta...

Old Word 6.0 file in Office XP Word
I have a problem I just can't figure out.
Someone wanted me to open a .doc file for them and convert it to html. It
was created on an older computer (presumably Word 6.0 or so it thinks) and
opens fine on those computers. I'm using Office XP (so not exactly new
either).
On mine, the top half of the document is in reverse. Meaning, the text
(whole words) are jumbled and out of order. F...

RTF File Size Increase - Word 2007
Word 2007 apparently adopted a new method of embedding images. This leads
to much larger file sizes for RTF files. I haven't approached this
scientifically to narrow it down, but a Word '07 file in DOC compatible
format, with a file size just under 1 Meg, saves as an RTF file of almost
5.5 Meg. If I open the DOC file with Word 2003 and Save As RTF, the file
size is smaller than the 20...

Converting WordPerfect Labels to Word Labels
The templates I made for converting the labels are on a new site. The
old site will be gone soon.
I don't know if the templates will work for Word 2007 because I don't
have it to test the them.
The site is still under construction but the files are there for
downloading now.

happen to perfectly well constructed doc files after they were published. For
