"Grammar Only" check does not work - but Style and Spelling check
I already looked, and I don't have a "Proofing Tools\1.0\Override" folder in
my registry to delete.
I recently realized that punctuation errors are not being caught. When I set
the checker to "Grammar Only," it flags no errors in this sentence:

How Find 0 but not 0.5
I am using Microsoft Word 2002. I have a table of numerical values that range
mostly from 0 to 9. But occasionally I have to include the value 0.5
(one-half).
At times I want to eliminate all the whole number zeros and replace them
with blank spaces. I know how to do this with the find/replace function, but
the problem is when I do this it also eliminates the leading zero on any of

Printing address on invitations
Hi,
I have 1000 invitations that are about 3 3/4 inches wide by 6 inches long.
All I need to do is print the address and date on blank space provided on the
bottom of the invitation. How can I do this in Word?

Document Versions
Good day,
I have read with great interest the different posts on the subject of
document versions. We can't say that there is a very practical tool in Word.
Aside from buying Docs Open or iManage, or any like applications, is there
something that users would recommend? Our problem is that one version sits

conversion of picture files
I mistakenly saved photographs in MY DOCUMENTS instead of MY PICTURES. Now
when I try to see the photos all I get is squares etc (gobledegook) not
photos.
A box comes up stating I can choose a conversion of text - I am unable to
display my photos by choosing any of the choices there.
Is there a way to transfer or move my document file over to the MY PiCTURES
area?

Deleting text
SI used to be able to eliminate text by highlighting a word or group of words
and then hitting delete.
I read earlier response to this situation that said to highlight, then hit
backspace.
I made the setting adjustment they recommended and it worked.
I'm not going crazy...how do I make it work by hitting "delete"? It always
used to work.

Word 2007 PDF Plugin Bookmark Chapter Number not converted
I installed the Word 2007 PDF plugin to convert my documents which have a lot
of Word ToC (Table of Contents). When it converts the word document to pdf, I
see just the Title/Section Names in the PDF Bookmarks, not the Chapter or
Sections Numbers.
For ex. If a chapter is 3.2.1 Miscellaneous Items, then in the pdf it just
shows as "Miscellaneous Items" and not "3.2.1 Miscellaneous Items". ...

Word 2007 - Page numbers not available
Working in Word 2007 and following the path Insert > Page Number all options
are dim and not available. Formatting the page number is available but
results in nothing. No problem inserting text in headers or footers.
Frequently told "Building Boxes.dotx Template not available."
No problem inserting page numbers and using section breaks in previous
versions.

my shortcut keys in word 2007 are not working
i have changed from office xp to office 2007 and notice that some of my
shortcut keys are not working. in particular ctrl+p and ctrl+b
i can't find any posts anywhere telling me or guiding me on how to fix it or
whether there is an on/off button (yes sounds silly but would be obvious :) )

Watermarks won't print
Got multiple users in an office who cannot print watermarks. Docs, regardless
of origin, will not print watermarks on their printers. Same docs will print
correctly elsewhere. This is across two (laser) printers, so likelihood of
printer error is
reduced. I've had user make sure that background printing is enabled. The

Missing Table Lines
I have a multi-page table (about 30 pgs) in which I MUST track changes. The
table was originally set for single lines everywhere (outside and between all
columns and rows). I have deleted some rows, and in those places the bottom
row on a page prints with no bottom line.
These places come where rows have been deleted. If I select the row and look
