Equation Editor - matrix
How do I create a matrix larger than 3x3. There used to be a way to specify
the size, but I can't find that since switching to Office 2007.

Editing/formatting axis labels in charts
Is there *any* way to force line breaks in the labels of the category axis
of a chart? Neither Shift+Enter (Word line break) nor Alt+Enter (Excel line
break) works in the label row of the datasheet, and I've got labels like
this:

Top of bars cut off in bar graph after changing data.
I'm having to update a series of bar graphs with 2008 data and when I update
the data, if the number is higher than the previous highest number, the top
of the bar gets cut off. When I try to resize the entire graph, plot area or
anything else, it still stays cut off and just scales.
How can I get the new data to fit the current chart size?

how do I create a bar graph?
Please help me, I have an appointment tomorrow with my business banking
specialist at PNC and he want's to see my revised business plan. I'm
supposed to show a bar chart of my projected sales forecast and can't seem to
be able to customize the bar chart i created in word or excell. Please
somebody help me....

Selecting & Grouping All Drawing Objects
In Word 2003, there was an icon for selecting all drawing objects. For what
it's worth, I did not use a canvas for drawing in Word 2003. Anyway, once
all of the objects were selected, I could choose from a list which ones I
wanted to keep or remove from the list. I could then group all objects.
There doesn't appear to be a similar function in Word 2007, and there is no
way of grouping ...

BMP print quality poor only after saving and reopening doc
I Insert a 600 PPI BMP picture into a Word 2007 doc and it prints fine. If I
save the doc, get out, then reopen it and print it out the images are
pixilated (actually they look screened). Easily duplicated.
Also,
If I insert the BMP picture and immediately print to a PDF using the Adobe
Acrobat 8 printer driver then the PDF "looks" good but if I print it it is
pixilated like above as...

Can't break a text box link in my drawing in word 2003
I am amending a long document that contains drawings. I deleted a whole page
of drawings and started to redraw. I selected text box link so that I could
duplicate a series of text boxs. Now I cant break the text box link. I have
followed the instructions by didging on the first tex box that has to be
duplcated which brought up a shaded area around the box and got the text box
tool bar di...

How do I quarter a piece of paper into 4 equal parts/ postcards?
I am required to run a word document that can be cut into four equal parts
that all have the same info. They have to be cut into postcards for mailings.

won't let me move inserted image
I have inserted an image into a template I downloaded from Microsoft and Word
will not allow me to move the image around. I can change the size of it and
it appears fine but will not move.
I have converted the file like I was told to do but still nothing. Has
anyone experienced this problem before?

Rerouted connectors keep moving back!
In a Word 2003 flowchart, on a drawing canvas, I have rerouted a connector by
dragging the yellow adjustment handle. It looks great. Then I go off and do
something else and, lo and behold, when I look at that part of the drawing
again, the connector is back in it's original location! Is there a way to
lock the connector in place once I re-route it?

an inserted picture won't appear on screen in the document
Having inserted a picture from file, Word has now (recently) decided not to
show the image on screen and won't let me edit the picture e.g. text wrapping
etc. Why is this? Is it a bug or is there some setting that has changed?...

i just installed a new colour cartridge and it won't print in red
I just installed a new colour cartridge and I'm trying to print something in
red and it comes out orange.
Can anyone help me? I tried troubleshooting. It just keeps telling me to
change the cartridge.

HOW CAN I CHANGE THE LINE COLOR WITHIN A TEMPLATE?
I am using MS Word 2003. I downloaded a template and used it for my purpose,
but I'd rather have a different color in the body which consists of lines
(i.e. a sign up sheet). Is it possible to change the color of these lines
before printing?...

Art under Page Borders
I have no "art" when I try to add a page borders. The only option is none.
When I use the drop down menu, I was instuctued to install. However, I click
no instead of yes and now I am not receiving the prompt.

All right, in word 2007, under the "insert" tab there is an "object" option.
it is a little icon and to the side of it reads "object" and under "date &
time" and besides the WordArt and Drop Cap.

Scaling text AND graphics
After creating a page sized flowchart on a drawing canvas on a blank page, I
was asked to put the chart onto a page with headers and footers. I've
imported the entire drawing canvas, but need to scale it a little to get it
to fit inside of the header and footer allowances. When I scale the drawing

Word 2007 Watermark obscured by text box, picture and table
I've put a Draft watermark in a Word 2007 document. On some pages, it is
obscrued by a graphic object, such as a text box, a picture or a table with
banded rows. Is there any way to get Draft to appear through and through?

Copying pictures from web pages?
I can do this most of the time by right-clicking|copy|paste
which gives the copy in *jpg.
But some web pages do not allow copying of their pictures,
so this becomes more difficult.
I can work around this sometimes by:
1/ Displaying the webpage with the picture I want.
2/ Saving the whole webpage or webframe File|SavePageAs
which takes it to Windows Explorer.
